Calendar
You can see this calendar at the Calendar pane.


This area also display contact birthdays which you can add while editing a contact record.
Time based events are displayed in the biggest part of the calendar.
The current day is marked by a gray layer, while the current time-slot is shown by a "Now" graphics.

You can navigate using the mini calendars. Click on the day you wish to see.

You can also navigate with arrows next to the Go to today button.

When using iDeal CRM in a multi-user environment you can also choose the user whose calendar you would like to see. You can see a user lists below the Go to today part.
Click on the user to see his calendar.
There is a zoom control at the top-right corner of the calendar.

You can use this to shrink or enlarge your calendar view, so that you can more or less event.
The minimum zoom sets the time slots to 1 hours:

You can add a new task in the calendar.
To do this, simply click on a blank area in the time based events area.

Here you can set a client if the task belongs to a company.
You can also set the from-to time, or set the task to all day event.
You must fill a Task description to save the task.
You can drag an existing task to another day or time slot, by simply clicking on it, and moving it to another location.
To resize an event, simply drag the bottom-right corner of it, then resize it to the appropriate size.

iDeal CRM calendar works with time-slots.
It doesn't let you create two events at the same time (as you cannot be at two places, and do two things at same time).
So if you try to create an event that is happening at the same time, iDeal CRM will warn you, and don't let you do that.
To change the week start day, navigate to the Settings pane, then choose the User setup button.

Choose your user account by clicking on it.

After this, you can see an option for the week start day. To change that, simply click on the radio button.
